We start our tour at 09:30 AM in front of the Ulutour Tourism office. Traveling along the Değirmendere River, we enjoy unique natural landscapes during a journey of approximately 45 minutes to Maçka. From there, we continue along the Altındere Valley and arrive at Altındere National Park. Using shuttle services, we reach the starting point of the Sumela Monastery trail, then take a short walk to explore this enchanting historical site. After visiting the monastery, we head towards Zigana Mountain. We take a lunch break in the peaceful forest atmosphere surrounded by nature. Then, to savor the famous local rice pudding (sütlaç), we continue to Hamsiköy. Following this enjoyable break, we follow the historic Silk Road, cross the Zigana Pass, and reach the Karaca Cave within the Torul district borders. After discovering the cave’s impressive natural formations—like a masterpiece crafted by nature—we take a short break for shopping local dessert delicacies locally named “pestil and köme”. At the end of our tour, we arrive at the Torul Glass Viewing Terrace, one of the region’s most spectacular viewpoints. From 240 meters high, we watch the breathtaking views of Trabzon and Gümüşhane. Finally, we begin our return journey, planning to arrive in Trabzon between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM, depending on traffic. We conclude the tour, hoping to meet again on another Ulutour journey.
