Borçka Karagöl is one of the most beautiful green areas I see in Turkey. There is a variety of plants with great beauty and almost every color contains tons of green.
To get to Borçka Karagöl, you will come out of Borçka Center and the beauties of nature accompany you along the way. I am confident that you will want to stop and photograph many times before you reach Borçka Karagöl. The stream flowing on your right will follow you along the valley. You will come down from the car and take a short walk and the view of the lake is taken from the head of the person. With the colored boats floating on it, you are faced with a picture that is nothing but a paradise. Go out to the photogenic scaffold on the lake; When you watch the panoramic view of the lake, you will take your breath and say that I have come to the right place.
Even if Borçka Karagöl is one of the northeasternmost lakes in the country, transportation is not as difficult as it might seem. This beauty gives you the last mile to reach a destination. First of all, I would like to briefly inform you about the transportation.
Borçka Karagöl is about 60 km from the Artvin Center. Most of the road is asphalt and the last 6 km is stone paved. You can easily reach all kinds of passenger cars.
It is 25 km away from Borchka.
If you do not have a private vehicle, you can reach Karagöl with minibuses from Borçka Petrol Office.
There is no place to stay in Borçka Karagöl Nature Park. The hostels are about 10-15 km from Karagöl. We stayed in Lamazi Pension for 1 night on Karagöl road, we were camping in Karagöl for 1 night. I would recommend the Lamazi Pension as an alternative to the accommodation, the operators are very sweet and polite people.
Borçka Camping in the lake while going to Karagöl will be the best accommodation type.
There is a private area for camping by the lake. All the campers are camping together there. As I mentioned, the lake is in a zero position, so the lake view wakes up wakes you up.
